Firefighter I Final Exam: Retest
Students who failed the FF1 National Certification Exam on their first attempt are eligible to take a FF1: Final Exam Retest for New York State Certification. The written test will be held on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the Suffolk County Fir
e Academy.
Preregistration is required. All students must bring photo id and two number 2 pencils.

The Firefighter I Final Exam will start promptly at 8:00 a.m.on Sunday, June 24, 2012. Students are advised to arrive at the Fire Academy at 7:30 a.m. This exam consists of a 150 question multiple choice exam and hands-on skills testing. Students will b
e issued a New York State Certificate upon successful completion of the exam.
Students must complete all classroom lectures and hands-on training with the Suffolk County Fire Academy prior to taking the exam.
Seats are limited and registration is required.

Students who wish to attend a Review Class may attend any of the Review Classes scheduled for June: Monday, June 18 at 7:30 p.m. or Tuesday, June 19 at 11:00 a.m.
