Heavy Rescue I (Revised 2012)

This course provides the student with the specialized skills required during heavy rescue operations. The program is both classroom lecture and hands-on training. It covers the use of hydraulic rescue tools, air tools, air bags and industrial emergencies and accidents. This course will also cover hard car technology and hybrid vehicles. This course also includes written as well as skill evaluations. Class size limited to 22 students.

Prerequisite: Firefighter I or Scene Support Operations
