Wildfire Operations & Safety

This program  is under revision and is not available at this time.  This course covers the proper strategy and tactics, specialized equipment and the aspects of firefighter safety that must be considered when Fire Departments are involved in wildfire incidents.

Topics such as topography, weather, type of fuel, available resources and standard countywide response plans are presented.  Problems associated with multi-agency response are discussed.
