The effective coordination of emergency response groups (fire & law enforcement), government officials, private industry specialists and media representatives are a vital function of an emergency incident commander. Learning how to structure an effective incident command system that can be utilized for any type or size of emergency, ranging from a minor incident involving a single unit to a major emergency involving several agencies and other jurisdictions, is the main focus of this course.  This course is the equivalent training to FEMA ICS 100 and 200.
