Fire Women of LI Conference

For the first time, "Fire Women of Long Island", a weekend long training program for female firefighters, will run from May 18-20, 2012 at the Suffolk County Fire Academy. 

The Program is coming to Long Island to make it easier for volunteer and career firefighters from Suffolk County, Nassau County and New York to network and train together.

Male and female instructors from Suffolk County, FDNY and FEMA will be joining together in this training event.  The weekend will incorporate classes, seminars and hands-on training.  Housing will be available at the Crown Plaza Hotel, 1730 North Ocean Avenue, Holtsville, New York.
