Medal of Valor 2009
|
The
Vocational Education and Extension Board has issued the
Medal of Valor to eight firefighters who have placed
their lives in extreme jeopardy, above and beyond
the normal expectations of a firefighter. The Medal of
Valor recognizes the expertise and extraordinary bravery
of our firefighters. These medals honor them for doing
what firefighters do naturally. Their
training, experience and bravery all play a role in what
sometimes comes down to a life or death situation.
