Fire Police Refresher at Brookhaven National Lab
The Suffolk County Fire Academy will be presenting a Fire Police Refresher class on Thursday, June 6, 2013 from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. at Brookhaven National Laboratory, Berkner Hall (Building 488). This venue can accommodate up to 275 students; therefore, preregistration is not required.
Firefighter I Boot Camp 2013
The annual two week Firefighter I Boot camp program will begin on Sunday, June 2, 2013 and end on Friday, June 14, 2013. There are two classes per day everyday at 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. and this program includes all hands-on evolutions and the FF1 Final Exam. Pre-registration is required thru Open Enrollment and is limited to 50 students.
Firefighter-1 Graduation
The Firefighter-1 Graduation Ceremonies will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 10:00am at the Fire Academy.
Anyone who completed the Firefighter I course between September 1, 2012 and August 31, 2013 is eligible to attend.
