The Suffolk County Fire Academy is now offering an online hazmat refresher course. This course provides training to review and refresh the competencies covered in OSHA 1910.120 for First Responder Awareness and Operations Level Responders. Firefighters whose CPR certification is expiring are eligible to recertify by taking Class 1 of any CPR course held at the Suffolk County Fire Academy. Refer to the monthly schedule for upcoming classes. Call the Academy at 631-924-6822 to register. Walk-ins are not permitted.
